Cup o’ Joe

It’s our weekly favorite feature here on the blog: Image of the Day!  This one goes way back, we think, judging from the hairstyles and uniforms.  Do you recognize this USO center or any of the good folks in the photo?  As always, comments and suggestions are welcome!

I Love a Parade

Is this a St. Patrick’s Day Parade? Or maybe the 4th of July?  Do you recognize any of the servicemen and women or the era of their uniforms?  As always, leave a comment and let us know!

From the Vault: A Mystery Center Opening

It’s a curious setting for a USO Center opening, but we can’t figure out why else there would be a ribbon and scissors in this picture!  Do you recognize the time period, the people, or even the plaque on the wall in the back?  Where are they?!

Wait, Come Back! Where Are You Going?

It’s that time of the week again: our Image of the Day is here!  This center has a few interesting features outside, but we’re not sure of the exact location.  If only the two guys in the image could talk!  What would they say…

Dish duty done with style

These three gentlemen lent a helping hand at a USO center in California. But that is all we know. Can you read the name tag belonging to the man on the right? Or how about the instructions posted behind them? Any thoughts on the year this photo was taken?

Holy Cactus! Or is it Cacti?

Or maybe cactuses? A plant this huge must have drawn quite a few visitors over the years.

Can you help us identify the location in this photo based on the cactus or surrounding plants? We hope that someone will be able to narrow down the date from the automobiles in the lot, or even uncover the identity of the man posing here.

Please leave a comment if you can tell us any information about this picture.
