Tammy L. Heiser
Senior Vice President of Human Resources
Tammy L. Heiser joined the USO team in 2010 and is responsible for developing and overseeing all aspects of global human resources functions. Previously, she served as the vice president of human resources of GP Strategies Corporation in Columbia, Md., where she directed human resources for the consulting firm of more than 1,800 employees. This included creating and implementing recommendations for new programs, benefits and training; facilitating talent recruitment and retention; and serving the human capital needs of the company.
Heiser, a certified Senior Professional in Human Resources (SPHR), earned a Bachelor of Science in business from Virginia Polytechnic Institute and State University. She also holds a Master of Science in international business from Johns Hopkins University.

Mobile USO Boosts Airmen's Morale During High-Stress Task
The Mobile USO team delivered USO location services on wheels to service members responsible for changing the nuclear codes of the U.S. ballistic missile defense system in remote locations for weeks at a time. This high-pressure task can take its toll, but the USO was there to lift spirits and boost morale at these missile sites.
