No strangers to drawing huge crowds, rockers M. Shadows, Synyster Gates, Zacky Vengeance and Johnny Christ of Avenged Sevenfold performed for troops currently serving on the front lines in the Middle East. This was the first USO/Armed Forces Entertainment tour for the group. The eight-day tour gave service men and women something to stomp their feet about this holiday season and included crowd-pleasing performances, autograph signings and an opportunity for troops to meet the band face-to-face.

The band released their fifth studio album “Nightmare” on July 27, 2010, which debuted in the top spot on the Billboard Top 200, and will break away from their current UK tour to make the long-distance journey to support troops.
