My husband just recently deployed this month back to Iraq on the 5th- I can not say enough good things about the USO. Every flight he took and every stop he had they were there, to make sure him and the others were comfertable, they had special areas set up the troops could rest, they had food and drinks and basically whatever they could do to make them soldiers happy-he mentioned this every call home on his way out-I want to thank the USO as well, they offered the soliders special things for their families prior to deploment- and they are there when we need them. Thank you VH1 & USO for being part of this and respecting the greatest part of our country the land of the free- and to the soldiers worldwide-on this earth that really do give the ultimate sacrifice to keep us all safe. what about the troops at the burn unit in san antonio or the ones at walter reed. the troops who were actually risking their lives while the others were enjoying the internet, regular phone usage, movies, video games, and concerts the uso provides. yall completely forgot them. i dont think thats righr. since bob hope you guys have lost sight of that. while all of us get deployed not all of us risk our lives. i luckily survived earning my purple heart many of my friends didnt. while you guys are taking pictures with the ones that never left the wire those of us who did many alot worse off than me feel forgotten.
