USO’s New Lounge at McCarran Airport

Check out these photos of the USO’s new lounge that opened on Veteran’s Day at McCarran International Airport in Las Vegas, NV for our troops! Was anybody there, how did it look in person?

  1. I would like to volunteer my time to the USO, I would even consider being a POC for volunteers in my Wing. Please let me know if you could use my help.

  2. My friend has a band (old-school) whom wants to perform for the troops, how do they go about auditoning or getting a booking?

  3. I WOULD LIKE TO VOLUNTEER SOME TIME TO THE NEW USO LOUNGE AT MCCARRAN AIRPORT, PLEASE SEND ME A CONTACT NUMBER TO GET IN TOUCH WITH

  4. I just wanted to thank you all of you for your hospitality. My son left yesterday to Georgia for basic. He texted me while waiting for his flight and told me about the snacks and movie that were provided . It was greatly appreciated.

    • Hi Kim! USO Las Vegas is open 24 hours a day, seven days a week, and 365 days a year and is located near the A and B Gates before you go through security. Hope this helps!

  5. Awesome-great cadre of volunteers and great facility! The Vegas USO was a great surprise during my 12-hour layover. Movies, internet, plenty of food and drinks, and a warm place to take a nap!

    • I applied to the USO to volunteer my time even before this lounge opened and was told that there was 265 people ahead of me. Then I tried to get in touch with someone and they never contacted me again, I was so upset over this that I decided if they did not care any more for potential volunteers than that I would give my services elsewhere and i have done just that. My husband gave his life for this country and i truly wnted to give back SOMETHING!!!!!!!!!! My new volunteer organization loves their volunteers and i am still helping our troops. The USO NEEDS A LESSON IN PUBLIC RELATIONS!!!!!!!!1 Jeanne A Lewis.

      • Good morning Jeanne-
We’re very sorry to read about your experience and have forwarded your comment along to the appropriate person here at the USO. Thank you for your husband’s – and your family’s – service and sacrifice to our nation.
