The local group in Ontario, CA is frankly useless. I filled out the application & then:
Sent it to the posted PO Box on the website. RETURNED. Called them.
Sent the application out again & have not received any acknowledgement that it was received. As instructed I sent it to an address @ the Ontario airport. Can’t even get a return phone call or email. Pathetic.
SSDD, I am in NC, near charlotte airport,uso has a room and area set up so I figure after 39years retired US Army you would think hey could use me anytime day,night,holiday whatever but that was 3 filled out forms and phone calls they kept telling me I was on their list! That was 4years ago. All I get from them now every 3 months is request for at least $25.00. USO can Stick it I give to the Salvation Army both time and money! Retired Army Vet
