It’s that time of the week again: our Image of the Day is here! This center has a few interesting features outside, but we’re not sure of the exact location. If only the two guys in the image could talk! What would they say…

Yes the USO……free pizza and internet yeah let’s go HOOAH!!!!! That’s what I always said I love the USO yall took care of us.
Interesting outside decor. Someone surely knows the exact location !
Judging from the writing on the window and totem pole as well as the letters/numbers on the license plate, I would say somewhere in the Pacific. Maybe Japan or possibly Guam.
What kind of license plate is that from? S – 4… ?
You can see some of the numbers on the lic plate on the car . . .definitely over seas . .
Looking at the license plate, it must be Korea.
The goofy face on the totem fits too.
The writing looks Chinese, which also fits as a lot of Chinese words are written and spoken here.
This looks like the buildings at the Presidio in San Francisco before they turned into a national something and took it away from the military.
Found it! I looked at google images of korea uso front door and found that it is the Seoul USO’s front door. Yikes, this is a really long link… http://www.google.com/imgres?imgurl=http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v647/dustysage/Weekend%2520Update%25202009/060609/JaimeBegley/001.jpg&imgrefurl=http://micechat.com/forums/blogs/weekend-update/1113-weekend-update-tokyo-japan-korean-dmz-palm-springs-aerial-tramway-venice.html&usg=__sv_oEEd-zt5D8586o8rBI4-W368=&h=480&w=640&sz=98&hl=en&start=20&sig2=-PCQgi9uUd_p3vHjLq_mCw&zoom=1&tbnid=y8d1iVIblDx5aM:&tbnh=141&tbnw=192&ei=3N-bTOK1A4HQsAO9_uC3CQ&prev=/images%3Fq%3DUSO%2BKorea%2Bbuilding%2Bfront%2Bdoor%26hl%3Den%26biw%3D1152%26bih%3D749%26gbv%3D2%26tbs%3Disch:10,635&itbs=1&iact=hc&vpx=852&vpy=256&dur=5611&hovh=194&hovw=259&tx=208&ty=92&oei=1N-bTPyPOIGesQOzzNDaCA&esq=2&page=2&ndsp=21&ved=1t:429,r:9,s:20&biw=1152&bih=749
The building’s roof and the totems lead me to think this is somewhere in the pacific. The steering wheel of the car is on the right side which would put it in Hawaii, Guam or Okianwa (prior to 1972). The license plate on the car appears to be a Hawaiian plate from the early 1960′s.
Wait….. I am dead wrong. Someone snuck a post in on me. Juney Bug is absolutely correct. That is the Seoul USO’s front door. Good work!! Duh, I was busy looking for the license plate. Forgot Korea drives on the right side of the road too.
Here is a better link.

Yes, that is the entrance to USO Camp Kim in Seoul, Korea. I would venture to say that it is from the mid to late 70′s…especially since we didn’t open at this location until 1973.
Having those knick knacks around the door sure make it look more welcoming than it does nowadays…
