Letters Back Home: T-Shirt Edition

We’d like to say a huge “Thank You” to all of our donors who made our 4th of July t-shirt campaign such a fantastic success.  We’ve received notes from around the country letting us know how you showed the Troops “I have your back” over the holiday.  This letter really caught our attention and we’re proud to share one USO supporter’s experience.

How did you wear your USO t-shirt on Independence Day?  Send us your letters and pictures – we’d love to share more!

  1. I didn’t wear my USO shirt (volunteer shirt) over the weekend but I had alot of pride in me. Ever since I’ve been volunteering, it’s made me feel so good on the inside and out. My boyfriend is in the Navy. Been in for 4 1/4 years and will be leaving me soon in December. My grandpa was a Navy seabee and my mom’s family was moved all over the place. And I have a step-dad who also served in the Navy. Just wondering, where can I get one of these shirts from?? Even though the 4th has come and past, I would still wear this shirt with pride and honor because if you can’t stand behind our troops, try standing in front of them! God bless our troops and come home soon!

  2. Thank you so much for the cool t-shirt design. I proudly wore it over the 4th of July weekend when I volunteered at the USO at Ft. Carson. It was a big hit! I do have a collection of shirts with American flags on them, but this one is one of my new favorites. I plan on wearing it as much as I can to promote the USO and hopefully spark an interest at volunteering at the USO. It’s one of the most rewarding things I have ever done. We LOVE our troops!!

  3. Hi everybody! The t-shirt premium is officially over for this 4th of July, but keep an eye out for upcoming opportunities and hopefully another shirt next year!
