more about “Organization Donates Xmas Trees | ABC…”, posted with vodpod

Through USO-Metro, BAE Systems and its employees donated 100 Christmas trees and trimmings for troops and their families on Sunday at the Smokey Glen Farm in Gaithersburg, Maryland. USO-Metro selected 100 military families from the area bases to receive trees, stands, and decorations. Families also enjoyed free hayrides, craft tables, and refreshments.

“Thank you so much for an amazing day. The memories from today will stay with our family forever. The USO has helped us this year with a real tree. This was the first year since my husband was one-year-old that he has had a real tree, so to be able to allow him the experience and adventure of cutting down his first live tree with his son there was priceless. Enjoy the pictures and again Thank you from the bottom of my heart,“ said Holly Allen, wife of Kevin D. Allen.

Keep up the great work, USO-Metro!
